Frederick W. Parrow

Frederick W. Parrow, 81, of Russell died on Friday, May 26, 2017 while at his home, where he had been stricken suddenly. Services will be held privately.

Fred was born July 15, 1937 in Canton, the son of the late Wesley and Marjorie (Billings) Parrow. He attended Hermon-DeKalb and Canton Schools. Fred worked at the Kraft Plant in Canton; he was a member of the Boiler Makers Union and travelled throughout the U.S. welding. On September 4, 1993 in Pierrepont, Fred was married to Nancy Ashley. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dog Chi.

Besides his loving wife Nancy, Fred is survived by four children; Calvin Bell and companion Angie Bellinger of Russell; Cully Bell and wife Sheila of OH; Ashley Given of Heuvelton and Stormy Given and companion David Ruddy of Pyrites; 11 grandchildren, Melinda Bell, Kennedy Rodriguez, Matthew Bellinger, Nancy Bell, Shayne Lashomb, Cully Bell, Zachary Ladison, Daniel Ladison, Cassandra Given, Frederick Given and Dominic Given, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
