Lynn and family, we wish to express our sincere condolences in the loss of such a great man. We were unable to attend the services. We sure did have some great times at the old fire station and across the street. Our thoughts are with you.

It's been almost 20 years and a thousand miles but we still remember Bill. He had a quick smile and a nice word for anyone who had the pleasure of talking to him. So many memories as a fellow Village employee and member of the fire department. But most importantly, he leaves a legacy of a wonderful family. God bless the Bennett family.

Hello, my name is Rebecca. I just read is obituary and I wanted to tell the friends and family of William that I am deeply sorry for your loss.
A scripture, from the Bible, that I have always found comforting in distressing times is found in Revelation 21:4. It says, "And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
