Cindy Whitman, Timothy O’Connor Sr, and Nancy Carney contributed greatly to our family and Peggy’s happiness as well as her sons and daughters in law; Linda, Phil, Bruce, Paula, and George who completed us. Peggy was often referred to as a special lady, a friend to all, one of a kind, a tough nut, always thinking of others, dedicated volunteer (including Hospice in its earliest days), life of the party, a real character and amazing wife and mother as ultimately family was her greatest joy. Peggy was a homemaker extraordinaire and dedicated to her husband and children. Peggy enjoyed traveling, dancing, her hometown Adirondack roots, helping others in need and a good laugh. Peggy was a Christian. Peggy had many friends and admirers and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Family will appreciate any remembrances shared online as we lovingly surrender Mom to her Heavenly rewards. Remember the less fortunate, politeness matters, when the moment is at hand…drink it up, and don’t forget to pray reflect Peggy’s core values. Private arrangements will be held at a later date.
