Craig M. Adams

CANTON – Craig M. Adams, 48, Howardville Rd., Canton, NY passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on April 10, 2019 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Born in Rutland, Vt. on Feb. 18, 1971, the son of Nancee Barney and Sherman Weston Adams III. Most of his schooling was in Cape Cod, MA prior to moving to Canton in 1987.

Craig was married to Amber L. Latimer on May 5, 2006. Craig was a carpenter and an all-around handyman. His sense of humor was contagious. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed life. He enjoyed Rock and Roll music, muscle cars, fishing, spending time and making memories with family and friends. Craig was a one of a kind family man and even as he faced the challenges, he still had a good outlook and a great attitude towards life.

Craig and Amber were blessed with three proud loving sons: Zachary Michael, Joshua Thomas (Jordan Locey) and Avery Wayne, all of Canton. He was the proud grandfather of Jorah Thomas Latimer, son of Joshua and Jordan. Also surviving are his parents, Nancee Barney, Rutland, Vt., and Sherman Weston Adams III, Horseheads, NY. Siblings include a brother, Sherman Adams, Rutland, Vt., sisters; Kara Adams Warner (Bill), Burlington, Vt. and Kimberly Fields (Keith), Horseheads, NY, nieces and nephews, Christopher and Chelsea Hill, Nathan and Emma Adams, Kuron Adams, and Noah Fields and great nephews, Weston Adams and Andre Earle.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Paislee Elizabeth Cobb.

There will be a celebration of his life at a later date with time and details forthcoming.
