Charles K. Brown, 56, of Norwood, died on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Albany Medical Center, where he had been a patient since November 29, 2019.
Charlie was born May 21, 1963 in Kingston, New York, a son of the late Thomas and Juanita (Rydzewski) Brown. He graduated from Saugerties High School. On July 20, 2004, Charlie was married to Karla Cutway at 2:18 pm. Charlie worked as a cook for diners in the Saugerties area before relocating to St. Lawrence County. While living in the area, Charlie worked at Marshall’s IGA and Mac’s Tavern in Waddington, Perry’s Market in Norwood and Al Smith’s Pizzeria in Norfolk.
Charlie is survived by his wife Karla, of Norwood; a son, Chez Brown; daughters, Kristy DuPre’ (Adam Perry); Leacy DuPre’ (Darius Lawrence); grandchildren, Adrianna DuPre’ and Yara Lawrence. Also surviving are two brothers, Edward Brown (Mark) and Eric Brown; two sisters, Cecilia (Pete) Panella and Linda (Guy) Jeffrey, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Thomas Brown predeceased him.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held in the spring.
