Wayne F. Cronk

Wayne F. Cronk, 69, of Ogdensburg passed away peacefully from this life on Monday, June 18, 2018. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later time.

Wayne was born June 30, 1948 in Canton to Arnold Cronk and Eleanor Stacy. Lester Storie was a big part of his life also, following his marriage to Eleanor. Wayne married Shirley Daniels and together they had three sons.

Wayne is survived by two sons, Wayne R. (Michele) Cronk of Goiuverneur; Dale (Mary) Cronk of Texas; a daughter, Tiffany Legault of Ogdensburg; grandchildren, Wayne R. (Miranda) Cronk Jr., Damien Cronk, Cleston Cronk, Rakayla Legault and Coleman Legault Jr. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Simon and Rhya Cronk.

He is predeceased by his father Arnold, mother and step-father, Eleanor and Lester Storie and by a son, Scott Cronk, who passed on January 29, 2013.

Wayne attended Canton Schools. He lived in the Canton & Ogdensburg area most of his life, except for a short time when he lived in Texas. Wayne worked for several companies including Canton Agway, Kraft Foods and Independent Grocers. He drove truck for many years and was a Fire Watchman for Cat Mountain in Wanakena. The last few years he helped out at Northern Equipment Company on the farm and shop.

He was a kind hearted, caring man who loved and cared for his family and friends.
