There will be no funeral or calling hours for Warren E. Davenport, 86, of St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena, and formerly of Russell.
Warren died on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital where he had been admitted earlier in the day.
Surviving Warren are a brother, Kenneth Davenport and wife Rosalyn and a sister, Virginia O'Hearn, all of Gouverneur.
A brother, Donald Davenport and a sister Marion St. Andrews predecease Warren.
Warren was born on April 11, 1926 in Edwards, the son of the late, Ward and Sarah (Klein Gartner) Davenport. Warren attended Edwards Schools. He worked as a nurse aide at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg, for 18 years and at the Massena Memorial Hospital for three years prior to retiring due to ill health. Marriages to Florence Dewan and Bonnie Davenport ended in divorce.
Warren enjoyed to fish.
