Walter Anson

Funeral service for Walter "Wally" Anson, 43, of Russell, will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Clare. Wally died suddenly on Wednesday, March 18 at the Clifton-Fine Hospital after being stricken at home.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7; East Syracuse, NY 13057 or to Hope Lodge, 237 East Avenue Burlington, VT 05401.
Wally is survived by his mother, Linda Anson and companion Roy Skiff Jr.; by his significant other, Denise "Molly" Morse; String Bean and Chuck and his dog Mitzi.
He is predeceased by his father Mitchell "Mike" Anson in 2011.
Wally was born September 9, 1971 in Rochester, the son of Mitchell "Mike" and Linda (Lottie) Anson. He attended Knox-Memorial Central School and graduated from Edwards-Knox. Wally was a union bricklayer.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, gold panning, tinkering and spending time with friends.
