Susan E. (Collins) Winney

Susan E. Winney, 76, of Canton died peacefully in the company of family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Susan was born March 13, 1949 to James and Eileen (Barney) Collins. Susan graduated from High School and gave 25 dedicated years to PACES dining services at SUNY Potsdam where she made innumerable lifelong friends. She enjoyed her computer time, playing solitaire, feeding her Farmville animals and most of all loved her family. Susan is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Donald) Snyder, Lori (TJ) Frank and Kimberly Winney (Mark Green), adopted daughter Jesica Escobales, five grandchildren Chelsea and Curtis Snyder, Zachary (Nicole) Frank, Bradley Frank, and Bradyn Green, a sister Debra (Michael) Planty and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, James and Eileen, Susan was predeceased by two brothers Gary and Wayne Collins. There will be no services at this time.
