Sarah Elizabeth Stebbins

Funeral service for Sarah Elizabeth Stebbins, 92, of Canton, will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 1pm at the O'Leary Funeral Home, 5821 US Hwy 11, with her grandson, Ernie Darrah officiating. Burial will be in the Crary Mills Cemetery. Sarah died on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the United Helpers, Maplewood.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11am until the time of the service. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to United Helpers Maplewood Campus.
Surviving Sarah are three sons, John Stebbins of Lisbon; Robert Stebbins and wife Nancy of Waddington; Kevin Stebbins an wife Vicky of Morley; two daughters, Marty Ritchings and husband Robert of Star Lake; Sara Snell and husband Rick of Morley; two sisters, Louise Wydenowski of Gibbstown, NJ; Katherine Irish of Massena; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Sarah was born January 22, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Sara (Schock) Willis. She attended Gibbstown, NJ schools. She married Bernard Stebbins on August 26, 1950 in Paulsboro, NJ. He predeceased her in 1977. Sarah enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and attending the Morley Wesleyan Church.
