Robin Anne Marie Elliott

Robin Anne Marie Elliott, 45, of Lake Placid and formerly of Canton died on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Elderwood Long Term Care Center where she had been a resident for the past three years.

Robin was born August 23, 1980 in Brockville, ON, Canada to Douglas and Ilda (Smith) Elliott. She was a high school graduate and attended St. Lawrence University in Canton for acting and performing arts. Robin loved dancing, singing and stage performances, she starred in several and in commercials. She loved to watch movies, especially those with Patrick Swayze, Star Wars and Michael Jackson music and dvd's.

Outside of her singing and dancing skills, she held a purple belt in Karate. She loved traveling from NY to FL and TN. Robin enjoyed taking part in Awareness Walks and going to summer camps visiting with cousins and was proud of her catholic faith.

Robin had worked in housekeeping at the Best Western and for the NYS Highway Department painting plows and guard rails.

Robin is survived by her mother, Ilda Elliott (Stephen Guarin), father Douglas Elliott, paternal grandmother Laura Elliott, uncle William Elliott, and four maternal uncles, Claude, Curtis (Dorothy), Kevin (Lila) and Leo Smith, two maternal aunts, Ramona (Raul) Gonzalez and Carlene (Ernie) Primm and many cousins.

Robin was predeceased by a sister Bobbie Jo Elliott, paternal grandfather Thomas Elliott, maternal grandparents Carl and Ilda Smith and a maternal uncle Levi.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Canton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Ogdensburg.
