Robert P. Regan
July 18, 1937 — July 27, 2017
Robert P. Regan of Potsdam, NY went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017. He passed away in the loving care of his family and Hospice. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Potsdam with Rev. Stephen Rocker, celebrating. Interment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Bob was born July 18, 1937 to Mark Regan and Rose Reagan. Bob graduated from Potsdam High School in 1955. In 1959, he graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation Bob worked at Fleeger's Business Machines in Utica, NY and proceeded to teach Business at Morristown Central School. However, Bob's true passion was farming and he returned to his family's land and dairy farm in 1966.
Bob was an avid sports fan. He loved Crimson Tide football, Yankee baseball and St. Lawrence University hockey. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, playing with his dogs Norman and Andrew and reading historical books.
Bob is survived by Sharon, his wife of 49 years; his daughter Kristen (Mike) Regula of Huntsville, AL and his daughter Kimberly Regan of Rochester, NY. Bob is predeceased by his parents and brother, Mark James.
