Randy A. Payne

Randy A. Payne, 68, of Canton died on Monday, November 14, 2022 at his home.

Randy was born February 22, 1954 in Gouverneur, New York; a son of the late Henry and Marian (Congdon) Payne. Randy graduated from Knox-Memorial Central School in Russell and attended SUNY Plattsburgh and later the Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans. Randy was a devout Christian and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Canton. He worked for several years for NYSARC as a van attendant and dispatcher.

Randy enjoyed traveling when he was younger, he loved music and collected stamps, baseball cards and all kind of sports figurines.

Randy is survived by his brother, Jeffrey (Carol) Payne; nieces and nephews, April Payne (Scott Adams), Christy Lee (Jason) Burch, Danielle (John) Brough and James Payne, step niece and nephew, Heather Thurston and Paul Harris as well as several cousins and great nieces and nephews.

A committal service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
