Phillip J. Carpenter

Funeral service for Phillip J. Carpenter, 44, of Ogdensburg and formerly of Canton will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00am at the Morley Wesleyan Church, with Revs. Donald Wolfe and Gloria Strong, officiating. Burial in the spring will be in the Hermon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church, from 9:00am until the time of the service.
Surviving Phillip are his mother and step-father, Kathleen and Gerald Cross of Morley; brothers, Joseph W. Cross of Saranac Lake; Gerald W. Cross of Canton and David R. Carpenter of Edward; a sister, Grace M. Cross of Pierrepont and a foster sister, Anne Wright of Pierrepont.
He is predeceased by his father Donald Carpenter and by a brother James W. Carpenter.
Phillip was born in Buffalo, NY on January 12, 1969. He attended Colton-Pierrepont Central School. Phillip had worked for several restaurants in the area and had his own lawn care business in Virginia.
He loved listening to the television.
