Patricia N. Duskas, 76, of Oak Run in Ocala, Florida passed away on March 16th, 2016 while in the care of Hospice of Marion County surrounded by her family.
Pat was born on June 11th, 1939 in Cambridge, New York to Mary and Robert C. Norton, Sr. She graduated from Greene High School in Greene, New York and went on to graduate from Plattsburgh State Teachers' College. In 1964, she married Michael W. Duskas in Greenwich, New York. Pat was a permanently certified elementary teacher who taught second grade at Salmon River Central School and Canton Central School. She left the teaching profession, which she loved, to raise her two children. Pat was a long-time resident of Canton where she was involved in numerous community activities including the Benton Board of Trustees for the Canton Free Library, the E.J. Noble Guild and the Skating Saints Booster Club.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, the Hon. Michael W. Duskas of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Canton, New York, her two children, William M. Duskas (Victoria) of Canton, New York and Kimberly L. Duskas (Ronald Daly) of Gansevoort, New York and her brother, Robert C. Norton, Jr. (Carol) of Ocala, Florida. She was pre-deceased by her father, Robert C. Norton, Sr., her mother, Mary W. Norton and a younger brother William Norton.
