Pamela (Carr) Gotham

Pamela (Carr) Gotham, 75, of Hermon, passed away in the company of family early Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Plattsburgh.

Pam was born June 1, 1949 in Hermon, a daughter of the late Arthur and Patricia (Coffey) Carr. She attended Pyrites Rural School. On September 18, 1965, Pam married Leo Gotham in Skaneateles, NY.

Pam loved being a mother and grandmother, especially cooking, baking and making sure everyone had a full belly, and she wasn't afraid to hand out a spanking when needed. She lived the life she wanted and was admired for it. She enjoyed camping, crafts and woodworking and felt the most free when she was riding the tractor in the hayfield with Leo.

Pam is survived by seven children, Thomas (Susan) Gotham, Daniel (Brandie) Gotham, Sara (Lewis) Gilbert, Enos (Jenne) Gotham, Rick (Tonya) Gotham, Douglas (Tabitha) Gotham and Pamela (David) Kirkpatrick, 35 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four siblings, Michael (Cathy) Carr, Randy (Dawn) Carr, Christine Carr and Shari Carr and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Arthur and Patricia, she was predeceased by her husband Leo, four children, Leo Gotham, Tina Kinch, Pattie Gotham and Xann Gotham, a grandson Joseph Gotham, brothers Cleo and Terry Carr and sister Lena Gollinger, brother-in-law Ricky Gollinger and sisters-in-law Barbara Carr, Lisa Carr and Karen Carr.

Calling hours for Pam will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Canton.
