Monica M. Whalen-Grant, 65, of Potsdam and formerly of Canton died on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Monica was born July 9, 1960 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Moreno) Whalen. She graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School and attended SUNY Fredonia. Monica worked as a paralegal before becoming ill.
Among her survivors are siblings Millie, John and Chris Whalen.
