Marcel J. Clarke

Graveside service for Marcel John Clarke, 61, of Canton will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Marcel died unexpectedly on Saturday, Decemeber 6, 2014 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Marcel is survived by his mother Alice Clarke of Canton; by a brother, Michael Clarke of Canton; sisters, Mary Bassett and husband Daivd of Midlothian, TX; Marcia White and husband Ronnie of Russell and by nieves and nephews, John Dafoe, Rebecca Robert, Matthew Bassett and Alyssa Clarke.

He is predeceased by his father John N. Clarke.

Marcel was born March 7, 1953 in St. Catherine's, Ontario. The son of John N. and Alice (Dore') Clarke. He attended Canton Schools. Marcel was an entreprenuer with lots of innovative ideas and dedicated the last years of his life to caring for his mother Alice. He was fun loving, he loved children; especially his nieces and nephews and life and was an all around caring person.
