Louise (Jordan) Sanderson

Louise (Jordan) Sanderson, 71, of Massena and formerly of Lisbon passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home.

Louise was born January 6, 1947 in Canton, the daughter of the late Leon and Dorothy (O'Neil) Jordan. She graduated from Lisbon Schools and was a self-employed beautician. On July 16, 1966, Louise was married to Ronald Sanderson at Sts. Philips and James Catholic Church in Lisbon. Louise was a communicant of Sts. Philips and James Catholic Church; was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society; past member of the Lisbon Lions Club, she loved flowers and gardening and spending time with family. She especially loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Louise also attended the Congregational Church in Massena.

Louise is survived by her three daughters, Tracy LaFlair and husband Chris; Sarah Belile and husband Joe and Jamie Lopez and husband Drew, all of Ogdensburg; eight grandchildren, Lexi and Luc LaFlair, Walker, Sawyer and Hudson Belile, Harry Powers and Lauren and Bella Lopez. Also surviving are two sisters, Kathy Londraville and husband Mark and Jody Felix and husband Keith, all of Potsdam; two sister-in-law's, Arlene and Debbie Jordan of Lisbon; her companion Joe Fields of Massena, as well and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Louise is predeceased by her husband Ronald and by two brothers, Neil and Edward Jordan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church in Lisbon; with Father Kevin J. O'Brien, pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the Morley Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Canton.
