Funeral mass for Lorraine M. Primeau, 77, of United Helpers ICF, Rensselaer Falls, will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 12:00pm at St. Mary's Church in Canton with Rev. Douglas Lucia, celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Park St; Canton on Saturday from 10:00-11:30am. Lorraine passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Claxton -Hepburn Medical Center. Contributions in memory may be made to United Helpers. A luncheon will follow burial at the ICF, 207 Congress St; Rensselaer Falls.
Surviving Lorraine are two sisters, Laura Stallings of South Carolina and Virginia Mancini of Minnesota and a sister-in-law, Mary Primeau of Ogdensburg as well as several close nieces and nephews. Brothers, Edward, William and Gerald and a sister Bernadine Bertrand predecease her.
Lorraine was born January 5, 1934 in Potsdam, daughter of the late Elzear and Regina (Domnie) Primeau. She enjoyed babies, cats and drinking beer with her brother Gerald.
