Leola Larose

Funeral services for Leola Larose, 34, of Star Lake formerly of Canton, will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 4pm at O'Leary Funeral Service in Canton with Mother Evette Austin of Grace Episcopal Church of Canton, officiating. Ms. Larose passed away on Saturday, September 06, 2008 at the Clifton-Fine Hospital in Star Lake where she had been admitted that morning.

Friends may call at O'Leary Funeral Service in Canton on Monday from 2pm until the time of the service. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Potsdam Animal Shelter or to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Surviving Ms. Larose are a daughter Emily Mauch of Canton, her mother Arloween Daniels of Canton, a brother Jerry Dibble and wife Alice of Potsdam and a sister Tara Planty and husband Todd of Massena, four uncles Melvin Daniels of Rochester, and Norris and Alfred Daniels and Almond, all of Canton, three aunts Patricia Butterfield and Verna Bogardusand Lisa Holmes, all of Canton, maternal grandparents Joyce and Melvin Daniels of Canton, close personal friend Lauren Baker of Canton and friend Randy Coller of Canton.

Her father Jerry Dibble predeceases her.

Born June 16, 1974 in Potsdam daughter of Arloween Daniels and the late Jerry Dibble. She attended Canton Schools and later received her GED. Ms. Larose was employed at various jobs in the area before becoming disabled following the loss of her eyesight. She enjoyed reading, having her hair and nails done, listening to music and going to concerts, being outdoors and wildlife.
