Kenneth A. Brown

Memorial service for Kenneth A. Brown, 41, of Pyrites will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:00am at the O'Leary Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. William Hart officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Mr. Brown passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Surviving Kenneth are his wife, Peggy of Pyrites, his father Alan Brown and his step mother Sandy of Harrisville; three daughters, Kasandra Brown, Victoria Brown and Krystal Brown all of Pyrites; a brother Charles Brown of Fine; two sisters, Teresa Shipman and her husband Roy of Black River; Elyda Gladle and her fiancé© Thomas Lehman of Watertown; a grandson Skylar Moore of Pyrites; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
His mother Francella predeceased him in 2000.
Born June 26, 1968 in Gouverneur, son of Alan and Francella (Klock) Brown, he was a 1986 graduate of Clifton-Fine Central School and entered the US Army. He married Peggy Coffey on June 18, 1988 at the Beech Plains Church in Pierrepont with Rev. Bill Huckle officiating. He worked for Meade Specialty Paper and D.L.Thomas, both of Potsdam.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and cooking. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley.
