There will be no funeral or calling hours for Keith M. Swanson, 57, of Potsdam. Keith passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Keith is survived by his mother, Dorothy M. Swanson of Potsdam, by his twin brother, Kevin and wife Monica Swanson, and nephew Aaron Swanson, all of Rochester; by aunts and uncles, Mary and David Spencer of Ashland, OH; Ron and Ida Swanson of Rockford, IL and Jane Stevens of New Hampshire.
Keith is predeceased by his father Charles Swanson.
Keith was born, May 4, 1958 in Chicago, IL the son of Charles and Dorothy (Wiltrout) Swanson. He attended grade school at Kent Central School, Kent, Ohio and graduated from Potsdam High School. Keith was active in high school hockey, where he played goalie. Keith went on later to receive two Masters Degrees from SUNY Potsdam. Keith was a self-employed painter, operating Keith's Painting and he was a licensed AFLAC agent.
Keith was passionate about the Chicago style electronic blue's music. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Agarwal Renal Center, 124 Ford Ave; Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
