Keith N. Dana

Memorial services for Keith N. Dana, 59, of Canton will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 10:00am in the chapel at United Helpers Nursing Home, 40 West Main Street, Canton with Rev. William Hart officiating. Mr. Dana passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Surviving Mr. Dana are his parents, wife Dorothy of Canton, stepsons Andrew Jenkins and Janine of Watertown and Jack Jenkins and Priscilla of Catlitt, VA; step-daughters Cynthia and Rustin Paul of Albrightsville, PA and Amy and Keith McGregor of Hermon; and by 9 grandchildren.
A brother Frederick Dana predeceases him.
Born July 27, 1949 in Canton, son of Elmer and Marjorie(Duncan) Dana. He graduated from Knox-Memorial School in 1969 and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Mr. Dana had worked for the town of Russell, for Harmer Construction as an equipment operator and dug graves for the South Russell Cemetery. In 2005 he retired from the Canton Housing Authority as custodian of the Riverside Drive Towers. He married Dorothy Brown on August 26, 2001 at the Riverside Drive Towers with Justice of the Peace Gene Knight officiating.
Mr. Dana enjoyed bingo, going to the casino and hunting and fishing. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
