Funeral service for Julie White, 41, of Albany and formerly of Russell will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the O'Leary Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in the South Russell Cemetery at a later date. Julie died on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Albany.
Surviving Julie are her father, Richard "Kate" White and wife Linda of Russell; her mother, Joyce Lane and husband Stephen of Edinburg; her fiancée Patrick of Albany; brother, Richard White and wife Katie of Russell; two sisters, Penny Claus and husband Kerry of Canton and Brandy White of Tucson, AZ; a nephew Joshua Claus and by a niece Katelyn White of Russell.
Julie was born, January 24, 1973 in Gouverneur, the daughter of Richard White and Joyce Ashlaw. She graduated from Edwards-Knox Central School in 1991 and from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1993. Julie worked for St. Joseph's hospital and various Home Health Care services as a Registered Nurse.
Julie loved cats and volunteered at several animal shelters, she was a doll collector, enjoyed swimming, boating, going to concerts and spending time with family.
