Judy A. (Bice) Dox

Judy Ann (Bice) Dox, born to Helen (Poore) Bice and Howard Bice on May 6, 1955 in Ogdensburg, New York, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2025.

She married the love of her life, Randy Dox, on December 16, 1983. Judy and Randy were married in Canton, in the same church where Randy's parents were also married.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She adored her three children, Thomas Tynon (Uni), Travis Dox (Margaret), and Amanda Dox Bobbett (Dan).

She doted on five grandchildren: Kristelle, Kristina, Parker, Lily, and Lucy.

She is survived by her mother Helen Bice, sister Rosemary Wainwright (Clark), and brother Frank Bice (Kim). She was predeceased by her father, Howard Bice, whom she admired for his loving spirit.

Judy lit up every room she entered and was the best friend to many.

She made many friends when she worked as a forklift operator for nearly 30 years at Kraft Foods in Canton. She was recognized as the longest tenured female employee at the plant. A bit later in life, while juggling her work and family, she furthered her education by attending classes at SUNY Canton. After the Kraft plant closed, she continued her employment at SUNY Potsdam for 12 years until her retirement.

Judy blossomed in retirement by being able to focus on her passion, which was her family. She was her children's and her grandchildren's biggest supporter in all of their endeavors. She enjoyed traveling, dance, being at camp, the casino, cooking, Mexican dominoes, cards, Granny games, fine dining, cheering for her children and grandchildren's sporting events, as well as being a counselor, caretaker, chef, advocate, and author.

She loved everyone in her family with more than her whole heart, soul, and entire being. She will be forever missed and loved.
