Janet R. Day

Janet R. Day, 62 of Madrid and formerly of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the home of her sister Gloria, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
Janet was born on December 5, 1949 in Canton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Wavia (Daniels) Day. She graduated from Canton schools. Janet previously worked for Sears, Mitel and L.L. Bean in Maine, among others.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Weston of Madrid and Michael Weston on New York City; by a brother Roger Day and Harriet of Canton; two sisters, Lillian and Donald Shoulette of Canton and Gloria Sherman of Madrid. She is predeceased by a son Roger Weston and by two brothers, William and Charles Day.
