Irene Ruth (Snyder) White

Mass of Christian Burial for Irene R. White, 72, of Williamsville and formerly of Canton, will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church in Canton with Msgr. Robert Aucoin, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Irene died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville.
Friends may call at the O'Leary Funeral Home, 5821 US Hwy 11; Canton on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Irene is survived by her husband John White, by four sons; Christopher (Anne) White; Jeffery (Nancy) White; Terry White and Daniel (Lisa) White; by sisters; Rhoda and Ellen, and brothers Hawley and Verde. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Cornelius; Jeffery II (Elizabeth) White; Cody, Tyler, Shanni, Nicole, Lauren, Christopher, David, Kevin and Jacqueline White and by four great-grandchildren.
Brothers Horace and Hollis predeceased her.
Irene was born, July 17, 1942 in Potsdam, the daughter of the late Roy and Virginia (Parody) Snyder. She is a high school graduate. She married John White in June 1960 and was a Special Needs Teacher Aide at the Williamsville South School.
