Harriet J. Bouchard

Harriet J. (Sellers) Bouchard, age 93, passed away on April 21, 2010 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Ogdensburg, where she had been a resident since 1998. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services for Mrs. Bouchard will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00am at the Fairview Cemetery, Miner Street Road; Canton with Lay Pastor Martha Helmer, officiating.
Mrs. Bouchard was born in Canton on February 17, 1917, daughter of the late Alton and Charlotte (Jones) Sellers.
She is survived by a son, Amos L. Bouchard and his wife Bertha of Browns Mills, NJ; four granddaughters, Elizabeth J. Bouchard; Dawn Starr Bouchard; Lisa P. Cronin and Amiee Leah Bouchard and also eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind lifelong friends Mabel Streeter and Ernest Doyle of Potsdam.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward J. Bouchard in 1985; an adopted son James, many years ago; and a nephew Robert Girardi of Memphis, NY in April of 2009.
Mrs. Bouchard was a loving wife, mother and homemaker while working the family farm with her husband for over 40 years. Memorial Contributions can be made to the St. Joseph's foundation, 950 Linden Street, Ogdensburg, New York 13669.
