Eva Marie Coller

There will be no calling hours for Eva Marie (Judy) Coller, 72 of Pierrepont. Eva passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday January 24th at 1:00 PM at the Potsdam Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ken Pell officiating.

Eva was born October 21st, 1936 in South Colton, the daughter of Algie and Alice (Hutchinson) Rodwell. She graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1954. She married Homer Alanson Coller July 4th, 1954 at the Methodist Church in Colton, NY. She worked as a care giver to elderly and children.

She is survived by her husband Homer, Pierrepont, sons Richard and Marilyn Coller, Pierrepont , Randy Coller, Depeyster: daughters Susan Matheny, North Carolina and Joanne Coller in Pierrepont; four granddaughters, Erica Weems, Julia Coller, Lauralee Sparling and Margie Matheny; two great granddaughters, Abbie and Mickenzie Weems. Three sisters, Jean Helmar, Potsdam, Joyce Daby, Potsdam and Janet Fisher, Oswego: along with several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a sister Joan Scovil and brother William Rodwell.

Donations can be made to the South Colton Cemetery Association or the Pierrepont Fire First Responders.
