Elizabeth Teepell Murphy

Graveside service for Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty T" Teepell Murphy, 92, of Sun City Center, Fl and formerly of Russell will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 2:00pm at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Canton with Mgsr. Robert Lawler officiating. Mrs. Murphy passed away on June 5, 2010 at the Sun Terrace Health Center.
Surviving Mrs. Murphy are a son Dennis Murphy and wife Nancy Beck of Geneva, IL; two daughters-in-law; Nancy Dunnells of Virginia; Barbara Miller of Kansas; three nieces; Lee Rudel and Kris Barrigar of Canton and Lanie Shortino of Dallas and a nephew Michael Levato of Canton.
She is predeceased by her husband Paul, a son Timothy P. and a granddaughter Colleen.
Elizabeth was born August 12, 1917 in Syracuse, daughter of the late Dr. Frank and Cora Teepell.She was a 1938 graduate fo St. Lawrence Univeristy in canton. Betty was a teacher and librarian in Russell. She retired to Sun City Center Florida after living in West Hartford, CT; Fayetteville, NY;Wyckoff, NJ; Fox Chapel, PA and Manlius, NY.
