Douglas Taylor Plumb

Douglas Taylor Plumb, 68, of Canton died on Wednesday, April 02, 2025 following a fire at his home.

Doug was born January 27, 1957 in Potsdam, the son of the late Robert and Joyce (Jonni) Plumb. He graduated from Potsdam Central High School and attended the Crane School of Music.

Doug was a talented musician and enjoyed repairing, creating and playing many instruments.  Doug was an animal lover, and although you may not know him by name, you'd certainly recognize him riding his scooter around Canton.

Doug is survived by four siblings, Gail (Garnet) Elliott, Cheryl (Dave) Ellis, Sue (Frederick) Muller and Katherine Plumb, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately. Doug will be laid to rest on the family plot at Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam at a later date.
