Cori L. (Murcray) Shatraw

Cori (Murcray) Shatraw, 58, of Hermon passed away on January 9, 2024 at her home, she had been in failing health.

Cori was born January 10, 1965, a daughter of the late Francis and Peggy (Pruner) Murcray. Cori worked for John Rossi Inc., was a home health aide for some time and was an assistant for many years at the Hepburn Library in Hermon. Cori was married to Brett Shatraw, however the couple had been separated for some time. Cori spent much of her time reading and was a member of the Hermon Methodist Church.

Cori is survived by a sister, Serena (David) Shampine and a brother Benjamin (Leisha) Murcray, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Francis and Peggy, she was predeceased by a brother, Frankie Murcray.

A celebration of life will be held on June 22, 2024 at the Hermon Fire Hall beginning at 2:00pm.
