Funeral services for Betty Jean Robinson, 82, Fredericktown, Ohio, formerly of Lisbon, will be Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Morley Wesleyan Church with her son, Rev. Stephen Robinson and grandson Rev. Glen Robinson co-officiating. Mrs. Robinson died peacefully and went home to be with Jesus Tuesday afternoon December 2nd at the home of her daughter, Donna Ost in Fredericktown, Ohio, while under the care of Acclaim Hospice of Columbus, Ohio.

Calling hours will be Monday, December 8, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at O'Leary Funeral Service, Canton. Burial will be in the Morley Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons and three daughter-in-laws, Howard and Diane Robinson of Hendersonville, NC, Edward and Rita Robinson of Hendersonville, NC and Rev. Stephen and Peggy Robinson of Fenton, MO; two daughters and two son-in-laws, Donna and Ron Ost of Fredericktown, OH and Nancy and John Hurst of Huntsville, AL., 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Glen T. Robinson; two brothers, Wesley Jock and Raymond Jock and a sister Nellie Snyder.

Born May 23, 1926, she was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. George D. Jock of Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon Central School in 1944. On October 6, 1944 she married her high school sweetheart Glen Robinson at the Lisbon Wesleyan Church with her father performing the wedding ceremony. Glen died December 6, 1998.

Mrs. Robinson was an active member of the Godfrey Church of the Nazarene, Godfrey, Il until moving with her daughter to Fredericktown. She was previously a member of the Lisbon Wesleyan Church and the Morley Wesleyan Church until they moved to Orlando, Fl where they lived for twenty years. In 1996 she moved from Orlando to North Carolina, Ohio and Alton, Il, returning back to Fredericktown August 2007. She has lived with her daughter Donna since 1996.
