Barbara Ann Brown

Colton - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Brown, 80, on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Barbara was born May 8, 1945 in Malone, to Chester and Bernice (Malette) Farquhar. In 1978, Barbara moved with her family to Colton, New York.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Earl E. Brown, their three children, Karolyn (Tyler) Jeppeson, Allyson Brown (Matthew Kielmeier), Scott (Amanda) Brown, grandchildren Amanda (Joe) Morvan, Dylan Weems, Emma Kielmeier, and Hunter and McKenzie Brown. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Ian, Connor and Noah Weems, Finnegan and Maeve Morvan. Barbara also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Priscilla Brown, a cherished sister and friend.

Barbara enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, reading, and playing games on her iPad. She loved playing cards with family and friends. Barbara will always be remembered for her “no choice on last” when playing low hole poker. In her earlier years, she enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach with her husband and family.

In honor of her final wishes, Barbara’s remains will be placed next to her brother, Raymond Farquhar, who predeceased her on April, 4, 1958.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and location to be announced.
