Agnes Doenges

Agnes R. Doenges, 91, of St. Joseph's Nursing Home Ogdensburg and formerly of Brooklyn, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Claxton- Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. There will be no funeral or calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Surviving Mrs. Doenges are a daughter, Carol Lawall of Russell; a grandson John Lawall of Harrisburg, PA: and a sister Bernadette Falco of Tamarac, FL.
A sister Cathy Krawczyk predeceases her.
Born November 5, 1917 in Brooklyn, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Agnes (McConaghy) Kelly. She graduated from St. Cecilia's Catholic School and from Girls Commercial High School, both in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as a medical secretary in Valley Stream, NY near Long Island. She married John Doenges on September 7, 1946 in Brooklyn. He predeceased her on October 5, 1980.
She was a member of the Kings Point Choral Group in Florida. Was an avid reader and loved to play cards and scrabble.
