Paul E. Cobane

At age 74, Paul E. Cobane was called home to Heaven from his place in Little River, S.C.  His was formerly of Potsdam, NY.  He worked at the Potsdam Paper Mill and at SUNY Potsdam before retiring. 

On May 16, 1986 Paul was married to Judith Jessmer, the couple enjoy 28 wonderful years of marriage. Judith predeceased him on October 24, 2014. His parents,  Forrest and Helen Cobane and his sister Linda Cobane also predecease him.

He is survived by his 3 children and 3 step children that he loved very much; Melissa A.  Madill of Gouverneur, NY, Brian P. Cobane of Brasher Falls, NY, Amie J. Merrill of Brasher Falls, NY Julie and Timothy O’Boyle of Palm, PA, Tamra and Richard Cary of Liverpool, NY, Travis and Regina Caswell of Madrid, NY,  his sisters, Patricia Newtown of Chalmette, LA, Deborah and Gary Flanders of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna Richards of Ithaca, NY and his brother, Ronald J. Cobane of Little River, SC, his 16 children and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the O’Leary Funeral Home in Canton, from 10-11 am, followed by a memorial service at 11 am..  Donations can be made to the Potsdam Humane Society; 17 Madrid Ave; Potsdam, New York 13676
