My sincere condolences to Michael’s Family. I remember Michael from school in the 1970’s...always a gentleman, always with a smile for me, even remembering me when we meet years later in the store, a very nice young man.

I grew up in Pyrites with Mike...what a guy! Mike never forgot a name or a face of his friends. He rarely missed a ball game up at the ball field. I remember going to his 50th birthday and how happy he was to have so many attending. He certainly was fortunate to have such a loving family. The world and the Fifield/Waldo family have lost a truly remarkable young man. As others have mentioned, when you saw him he always asked about family & friends. After I retired and was living down the street from him, I couldn't walk past his house without him coming out to chat with me. He will be missed a great deal, I am sure.

Michael was truly an exceptional guy. You never saw him without him calling you by name and asking about your family. We were very sad to hear the news of his passing but know without a doubt the streets of heaven have another angle waking them . Our prayers are with his family. Arn & Marlene Cota
