James Rett Radway

Mass of Christian Burial for James Rett Radway, 36, of Canton will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Canton. Burial will follow in the Crary Mills Cemetery. Jamie passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 4-7pm at the O’Leary Funeral Home, Canton. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Canton Rescue Squad or to the Hermon-DeKalb CARES Teachers Association.

Jamie was born March 30, 1981 in Ogdensburg, the son of Randy and Doreen (Leo) Radway. He attended Canton Central School and later received his G.E.D.

Jamie is survived by his parent, Randy and Doreen; his three children, Kanan Charleson Radway, Gaven Taylor and JayLynn Strack; his sister Erin Radway, and by his brother Chris Radway, grandfather Rett Radway and nephew, Samson. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Craig and Deborah Leo; Alan (Godfather) and Albina Leo; Joy Leo (Godmother); Taffy Cameron and Lee Chase; Brenda Sewak; Mary Jean and Thomas Trombley; and Debbie Gilson; by cousins, Jason Cameron; Robert and Ashley Cameron; Shaun Leo; Brian Leo; Brendan Leo; Sarah Beth Sewak and Emmie and Kelly Oaks.

He is predeceased by grandparents, James and Mildred Leo and Eileen Regis.
