Grant J. Woodrow

Funeral service for Grant J. Woodrow, 13, of DeKalb, will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the O’Leary Funeral Home, Canton, with Pastor Reggie Curtis, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermon Cemetery. Grant passed away on Wednesday, July 27, at the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 31 from 4 PM to 7 PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Hermon Volunteer Fire Department; 1651 CR 21; Hermon, NY 13652 or to to the Grant Woodrow Memorial Fund; 11 Church Street; Hermon, New York 13652.
Grant is survived by his father and mother, Robert Woodrow and Kristin Grant of DeKalb; by sisters, Brooke, Peyton and Olivia Woodrow; by his grandparent, Barb and Stub Woodrow of Hermon; Bruce and Bonnie Grant of DeKalb; by great-grandparents, Don and Ann Grant of DeKalb and Agnes Woodrow of Hermon; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. 
Grant was born November 17, 2002 in Ogdensburg, the son of Robert Woodrow and Kristin Grant. HE was a student at Hermon-DeKalb Central School. Grant LOVED fishing, being outdoors, his dogs and his sisters.
