Della May (See) Crump

Memorial service for Della Mae Crump, 92, of Lisbon, will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the O’Leary Funeral Home; Canton, with Rev. Michael Terrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the Flackville Cemetery. Della died on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Deatta Mae in the city of Ogdensburg, where she was under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley; 6805 US Hwy 11; Potsdam, New York 13676.

Della Mae was born January 3, 1924 in Massena, the daughter of the late William and Mae See. She worked for Diamond National of Ogdensburg for a short time and was a homemaker. She married Clarence C. Crump, Mr. Crump predeceased her on April 11, 1977. She enjoyed doing word search and crossword puzzled, embroidery and painting.

Della Mae is survived by eight children, Wayne Frederick Crump (Susan) of MO; Albert George Crump (Peggy) of CO; Keith William Crump of Syracuse; Randall Gene Crump of Ogdensburg; Helen Marie Franklin of South Plymouth, NY; Judith Linda Crump (Phillip) of California; Deatta Mae Crump (Joseph Johnson) of Ogdensburg and Carol; by two step-children, Leona (James) Flint of Potsdam and Barbara (Jay) VanBrocklin of Colton, and by a sister, Mary Vice of Massena and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by two sons, Clarence Jr. and Richard Allen Crump; by two brothers, George and James See; by a sister Dorothy Ames and by two great-grandsons, Michael Franklin and James Martin.
